"WHITE DRAGON x TIGER HEAD"
- Tailor Toyo has reproduced the Sukajan(Souvenir Jacket) from the mid-1950s, featuring a white dragon with a body so long it seems to peek in and out from between the clouds, on a single-color black from the body to the ribbing. The dragon, with its mane flowing as it soars through the sky, is embroidered in a three-dimensional style using white-based threads, while the use of contrasting colors such as yellow for the outline and red for the tongue adds visual impact.
The reversible side features a pink body, a rarity even among vintage Sukajan. The embroidery features the popular “Tiger Head” design, a meticulous depiction of a powerful tiger’s face. By repeatedly varying the stitch length, even the fur on the cheeks and the mane is delicately embroidered strand by strand, clearly demonstrating the work of a master craftsman. Black ribbing that coordinates with the tiger’s color scheme ties the entire garment together, creating a sophisticated look. - Main/Lining: 100％ Acetate
